Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Credit Controller at CDMA Services Ltd in Strovolos, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing invoicing, accounts receivable, and debt recovery processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Monitoring cash flow and financial reporting, identifying overdue accounts, and taking action.
  • Negotiating payment terms and handling disputes professionally while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Investigating discrepancies, late payments, and potential financial risks, ensuring accurate records.
  • Utilizing CRM systems, accounting software, and Excel to track outstanding payments and generate reports.
  • Following up with customers systematically and escalate non-payments when necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR, data protection laws, and legal debt recovery procedures.
  • Working closely with the finance, sales, and customer service teams to align on customer payment behavior.
  • Identifying trends in late payments and suggesting improvements to credit control processes. 

Qualifications

  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge, including invoicing and cash flow management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle difficult customer conversations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, data entry, and payment tracking.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to find effective solutions for overdue payments.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet collection targets.
  • Knowledge of debt recovery procedures, legal compliance, and GDPR regulations.
  • Confidence, resilience, and persistence in chasing payments while maintaining professionalism.
